Senator Dick Durban from Illinois, stated that Elon Musk received money from the U.S. government to save Tesla during the Obama administration. Musk owned companies also have received government contracts.  This is the same billionaire that wants to cut social programs. Where is the mainstream media?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Congressman Greg Lopez of Colorado stated that cutting social security is definitely on the table. Lopez said that he is in favor of cutting social security. This statement by Lopez should have been broadcasted on every news program. Also, why are there no democratic congressman in front of a mic and a camera, making sure people heard this republican plan.  What was not said by the media and democrats, is one of the reasons Trump won.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Part of the reconciliation bill to keep the government open was called the China provision. This provision was supposed to limit high tech investment in China. Elon Musk fought against the provision because of his business interest in China. The provision was taken out of the bill.
